What was Mark Cavendish like as a 10-year-old boy?

The fastest man on two wheels, Mark Cavendish, has revealed he was bullied at school “a lot”.

The cycling star told Newsround: “It’s nice now when I see these people that I’ve achieved more than them.

“They were too busy worrying what was happening in my life to worry about what was going on in their own lives.”

Mark, from the Isle of Man, made history in July by becoming the first British cyclist to win the green jersey in the Tour de France!

The green jersey is given to the person who’s the fastest sprinter.
