VIDEO: Grand piano scales new heights

A team of 18 cyclists is set to tow a baby grand piano up Cragg Vale – the longest continuous ascent in England.

The unusual event is part of the Yorkshire Festival 2014. Organisers say it celebrates two things that local people are passionate about – music and cycling.

The route also forms part of the 2014 Tour de France course.

Colin Paterson reports.
